Based at the South African National Antenna Test Range, Warthog Radio Flyers have some of the best, if not the best, facilities of all Clubs in South Africa.

With our grassed run-off area of some 300 by 500 m neatly divided into two main flying runways, a separate Helicopter and Foamies strip, our neat and comprehensive ablutions, our Lapa and Swimming Pool and our storage facilities for large models we must surely rate as one of the best.

In addition to this, the splendid tranquil Bushveld setting on a late afternoon with the local family of warthogs now taking over the runways, foraging for food whilst the Braai Fires are crackling in a completely safe environment is something to experience. For our visitors we have several up market game lodges such as Monateng within a 3km radius, and we even boast our own small camping area with 2 electrical points and ablutions.

The Warthog Radio Flyers Founding Statement lists the specific cornerstones of our values which is to support and promote all facets of aero-modelling, to develop and maintain safe flying practises, to promote and foster good fellowship and lastly but most importantly to subscribe and adhere to the objectives contained in the constitution of the SAMAA.
